Sausage Stables is the labor of love of Miki Perry.
After raising 2 children and a grandchild and working with animals in both agricultural and medical venues, being a horsewoman all her life, and dabbling in coonhounds, Miki has specialized in the standard dachshund.
She and her husband Mike Perry have worked hard and been very lucky and had the keen insight to create one of the premier dachshund kennels on the west coast.
Mike is a horseman above all, but often is called to duty to transport a puppy to his new home in his truck!
Miki's dogs have state of the art kennels for nights but prefer to spend their days roaming their own reserved acreage. At Sausage Stables, "It's a dog's life" means living the life of Reilly!
Miki's house dogs spend their days and nights with their favorite humans, Miki
and Mike, and are happy to spend time on the couch with Miki when she watches
CSI. There is NO barking or whining during CSI.
Miki is justifiably proud of her fine setup, and is happy to entertain kennel visitors by appointment when in southern Oregon.
